Still offering free service to its ChatGPT, OpenAI is now offering users a premium service for $20 a month.
OpenAI starts offering a paid ChatGPT plan for $20 per month
Finally, after weeks of experimenting, OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Plus in the United States. For $20 a month, you can subscribe and receive general access to ChatGPT during normal and peak times. Users will also get priority access to upgrades and faster response times from ChatGPT. This will be good, as the service has been known to lag and crash due to its popularity.
After OpenAI became public a little over two months ago they began researching ways to improve its features. Through user feedback, they became aware of the chatbot’s strengths and weaknesses and wanted to figure out ways to make the make its products broader based. They found that ChatGPT was used in a variety of ways not only just for educational purposes, but also in a professional setting.
If you want to wait before you start paying the $20 Plus subscription price, OpenAI still offers ChatGPT for free. They are also looking at ways to have lower-cost plans and a business plan available to users. They will also have a ChatGPT API waitlist available soon, which would allow businesses to be able to use the API platform. To get on the waitlist, you will need to fill out and submit an online form that includes your name and why and how you plan to use the ChatGPT API models.
